Florida, summer holiday with young children- Aug 2013

I wanted to thank you for helping put together a memorable holiday for us. The whole trip was great, hotel choice very suitable etc., you can definitely pick the right place to match your clients needs. Feel free to publish the feedback, you deserve the credit! Many thanks,  John Docherty

Carry on Camping, annual dads n kids camp in the New Forest

Mr. Bourne, you are a superstar.Thank you for Avon Tyrrell – Absolutely top draw. Kids loved it too!!!!:-) Kind regards, Michael

Australia & New Zealand, despite the bush fires-  Jan 13

Just to say that we got back safely from Australia/NZ a couple of hours ago, after a wonderful holiday. Everything went exactly according to plan, which given that we had 10 flights, 11 different accommodations and 3 separate car hires is saying something! Thank you once again for all your help in organising it for us. Best regards Kevin & Jenny

Chicago, upgrade that reduced costs – Sep 12

We spotted a special offer that not only reduce the fare compared with what was booked, but also gave a complimentary upgrade to First Class on the outbound leg

You are definitely in Richard’s good books! Please upgrade them to First Class for the outbound as it will reduce the fare. Thanks very much. Daisy

Scary Moldovia – Sep12

Its not just the scary Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, that’s located in Moldovia. The hoteliers in the real Moldovia are something else and are to be very wary off.  We struggled to get a film crew confirmed into hotels in Chisnau. On four occasions rooms were confirmed, then it would appear they got a better offer and our rooms cancelled. It was a especially difficult booking and frustrating for both us and our client, thankfully alternatives were found and commitments made, so the accommodation  went without hitch in the end but it was a frustrating month.

Thanks for everything, you’ve been brilliant. Rebecca

Ash clouds, Bariloche Airport closures- Jan 12

We had clients on a remote and wild walking holiday, visiting Torres del Paine  National Park and other parts of Patagonia and the Chilean Lake District. Their exit airport was Bariloche, which had closed due to volcanic ash and a refurbishment that seemed to be without an end. There were over half a dozen changes and re-issues required with services in total flux, they having been routed to both Neuquen and Esquel at differing times. We were sporadically in contact with the clients, reissuing their tickets, keeping them informing of the numerous alterations and advising on how to get to the new departure airports.

The trip was excellent and all the flights worked well. Thanks for all your help. It will likely be New Zealand or Tasmania next year. Best wishes Nigel.

Sun, Sea and something to do – Dec 11

We had a client looking for an interesting place to take his family in combination with a visit to  relatives in Atlanta. We suggested the Mayan Riviera on the Caribbean, it is a great area for a beach holiday, but packed with things to see and do, such as the historic Mayan ruins and eco theme parks.

Just to let you know we really enjoyed the Tucan and Playa del Carmen. Fantastic value and a great suggestion to combine with Atlanta. Best wishes, Chris

Japanese tsunami & earthquake -Mar 11

We had two clients in Tokyo, on hearing of the news, accommodation was extended, a credit facility was arranged with the hotel and three back-up flights were put in place, their use dependent on when the infrastructure was suitable for our clients to leave. Despite a massive walk through Tokyo and a plod up to their 16th floor bedrooms they were OK, shaken but unharmed.

We were glad to leave, the ‘aftershocks’ kept coming and we kept thinking another big one was on its way. The transportation system in Tokyo was very bad to start with, but had improved by Tuesday so we were able to get to the airport without a problem. On Saturday the airport bus was not running and there were no trains or taxis. Thank you very much for all your help. It was impressive what you were able to do. Once again, many thanks – John and Stu

We had a superb time in Hong Kong and New Zealand, everything you organised worked like a dream. Thank you so very much. We thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but now we want to go back. We can highly recommend Blanket Bay and Kauri Cliffs-they were amazing! Best wishes Helen and James – May 08

Earthquake Christchurch, New Zealand – Feb 11

We had clients on a campervan tour of New Zealand, who were due to drop the van off at a depot in Christchurch, but fortunately they were a day away when the quake hit. We were able to liaise with the depot and also advise the client on this and the airport’s temporary closure.

Thanks for all your help – it is great that you have kept an eye on things during the night shift. Thinks getting back to normal here now- so we can get internet access, etc and there’s more info about roads being open or closed etc. We are now only an hour from the Kea office and it looks like pretty certain our  flights will be OK. Thanks again – and yes, the holiday has been absolutely fantastic. Best regards Sue and Tim

Last minute changes to a hearing at the Munich EPO- Sep 08.

Just a quick email to say thank you for sorting out my flight and hotel arrangements for my trip to Munich last week, and also for sorting out the flights and hotel for the inventor who accompanied me. I know that the requirements kept on changing until my client in the US finally made up their mind, so I appreciate the patience that you showed in repeatedly changing the details. I am very appreciative of the work you did, best regards. Paul

Georgia Country inn and desert island experience- Spring 08

A couple came asking for something unique and relaxing prior to the birth of their first child. They stayed on a Georgia barrier island in a country inn and then a top quality Caribbean beach hideaway in Mexico. A snippet from her extensive two page review of their trip….

It was lovely………The whole trip was fantastic and memorable, like the honeymoon we felt we saw a lot of stuff but are also re-energised, rested, and have lost the grey London pallor. Thanks to you and the team for creating such a unique bespoke experience. We look forward to the next one. Claire and Francois

A two month long family sabbatical-summer 2005

We assisted a family of four in the planning and booking of an impressive two month round the world trip, including: extensive tours of both Australia and a New Zealand; Tahiti; Bora Bora; Easter Island and Galapagos Islands.

Anne-Marie and I would like to thank you very much for all your help in planning and arranging  our big trip. Your suggestions were very helpful to us and the organisation and administration of our trip was superb- I really don’t think we could have done it without you. It was also a great reassurance to us to know that you were back in London to help us sort out issues that arose during the trip. It was wonderful when we were in some far flung corner of the world and something cropped up to say ‘lets send an email to Andrew’ and then know 100% that we could stop worrying and it would al be sorted out- thank you -very best wishes. Nigel and family

Dad’s n kid’s Carry on Camping – COC12

Our tenth year, despite the rather scary prospect of 45 dads and 90 odd kids camping for the weekend in the New Forest, once again a fantastic time was had by all. Here are just some of the comments….

Thanks again for organising such a great weekend.  Third year now and look forward to this weekend enormously and I know the new chaps had a great time too. The kids say thanks too – They loved it.  Moaning that we had to leave and then them sleeping the entire journey home meant a job well done! Thanks again  – I realise this is a somewhat thankless task but it is hugely appreciated. Take Care and hope Singing it Back is a huge success too.Pete

Just a quick note to say thanks for organising this again. Kids love it and I had a good crack also. I’m already down for the Family Camp and hopefully it may be a little warmer. As long as it doesn’t clash with Le Mans I’ll be there either way. Thanks again. Regards, Tim

As a COC Newbie I’d like to thank you very much for a great weekend. Excellent organisation and the rain didn’t take the gloss off one bit. Best regards Paul

Thanks again for doing a great job organising it all, I know all of our crew really enjoyed it and I think I speak for all of us when I say we would all definitely prefer to come back to the same Waterpark venue again next year – the lake / water sports was a huge draw. Also the setting was great, even if the loos and washing up weren’t. Cheers Rupert

Thank you for another fantastic weekend! I loved it. As always a great bit of organisation and relaxed camaraderie, just what any busy shrubbery designer needs.  All the best and many many thanks….James (COC private) r.i.c.e.

Thanks for organising a very enjoyable weekend. Yes the FBI top is Craigs.   Can I pop round to get it sometime? Cheers Neil

We had a great time, Tom really enjoyed the speed boat, despite the disappointment of the chap crossing his name out (duplicate name) Tom slept most of the way home, he really enjoyed the opportunity to join in and liked the marshmallow tent at the end of the evening . Looking forward to Le Mans. All the best. Jim

…just to say thank you for organising a fab weekend…much fun had by all and thankfully we seemed to fully enjoy ourselves without causing too much mayhem! Am happy with coc anywhere (obviously not in the biblical sense) – keep me posted for next year. Other Rupert

Thanks for organising. We had a fantastic time hidden away in the bushes. Cheers Nick

Thanks Andrew. We had a blast. Robert says it was brilliant and Matthew said it was the best day of his life. They don’t get out much!  Sorry that Tony’s snoring was of Olympic proportion. I am sure that he can get a small operation to sort it out in time for next year. Best wishes Neil

Most enjoyable for a first timer . Would happily go back , but lets see how the Mrs gets on Happy Camping at Mellow Farm. Cheers Jonathan

A cracking coc 🙂 thanks andrew we had a ball. I agree that the space, the owners, facilities and weather made it a top draw event as well as the crew of course:> thanks for all your hard organisation work Look forward to going back . Morgan

Yes thanks for a memorable weekend, nice to catch up and chill out.  My little baby managed the two trips without a spot of bother …I kind of wanted to keep driving and on to Scotland !!  maybe next year, but I certainly have the bug for it now. Excellent venue and nice folks, nice to come away smiling.  Thanks for all your organising, fabulous job.  Sorry didn’t get to say cheerio, hope to catch up again soon. Ian

Wing Commander Bourne. Can I just say a massive thank you on behalf of the guys who were up in the woods. We all had a great time and that is down to you. You are a legend. Thanks for organising a great weekend away and we are all looking forward to next year. Rob (Squadron mascot)
